This is a special live presentation!

Description:
Just as the oxygen mask must be put on first to ensure your ability to help others, your wellbeing is essential to providing effective support. This one-hour virtual session is designed for professionals offering services and treatment to people with IDD-MH and their families. Dr. Tomasulo will guide attendees through applied positive psychology practices to enhance resilience and wellbeing. Participants will leave with actionable tools and strategies to nurture and sustain both their personal and professional wellbeing.

Objectives:

  1. Identify and examine key positive psychology practices that enhance resilience and wellbeing for professionals supporting people with IDD-MH and their families.
  2. Apply strategies from the PERMA+ model to foster and maintain personal and professional wellbeing.
  3. Develop practical tools for integrating positive psychology techniques into daily professional routines to support long-term resilience and self-care.
