Living Well in the Community

A disabled Black non-binary hiker uses trekking poles and looks at a wooden sign with “Nature House” and “Trillium Trail ♿” marked ahead. The shot is framed with the hiker walking toward the camera and the hiker sports a shaved head, glasses, a gray peplum shirt, black shorts, and black tennis shoes.

The NH Disability and Health Program (DHP) is partnering with Granite State Independent Living to offer Living Well in the Community (LWIC) workshops to New Hampshire adults with disabilities. This 10 session workshop  is held over the course of 5 weeks and may help you choose and work on a personal goal, experience peer support, create more possibilities in your life, and make improvements to your health and wellness.

This class is taught using facilitated discussions, fun activities, informative health videos, and useful information. Living Well in the Community (LWIC) participants must be 18 years or older, a New Hampshire resident, and identify as a person with a disability.
