• Dr. Tobey Partch-Davies received a grant to fund the Granite State Challenge through the Think College National Coordinating Center’s State Capacity Building Project to build the capacity necessary to implement an inclusive college program at the University of New Hampshire.
  • Elizabeth Wise, MD, Postdoctoral Fellow in Geriatric Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins, and Calliope Holingue, MPH, Ph.D. Candidate at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health & START Research Committee member, recently received funding from Johns Hopkins University to pilot a dementia screener among older individuals enrolled in START. They will be working with the Center for START Services to administer the Early Detection Screen for Dementia (EDSD) to older START service recipients and then will carry out statistical analyses to determine how well the screener performs. Wise and Holingue will be supported by the Center for START Services National team as well as faculty mentors Luke Kalb, PhD, Assistant Professor from the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Peter Rabins, MD, MPH, Professor of the Practice and Director of Research with the Erickson School.
  • On Friday, April 6, 2018, the NH Leadership Series hosted their 30th Anniversary Celebration in Manchester honoring advocate Kathy Bates and raising more than $15,000 to support the Series.
