It’s time to get the word out! NH-ME LEND is actively seeking our next interdisciplinary cohort for the 2024-25 academic year. Do you know a colleague who goes the extra mile to create positive change for children and youth with special health care needs and developmental disability? Do you know a parent who advocates not only for their child, but for the needs of all children and families? Do you know a self-advocate ready to take the next step to enhance their leadership skills?
We are currently accepting applications from professionals, family members, and self-advocates who are looking to advance their professional leadership roles and find their place in the maternal and child health workforce. We depend on our partners in New Hampshire and Maine to help identify potential candidates and ask that you share this information with family members, advocates, educators, social workers, healthcare professionals and related service providers who may be interested in joining the NH-ME LEND program.
Our next cohort will convene September 2024 through May 2025 to engage in 300 hours of training related to interprofessional, family-centered, and culturally competent systems of care for children and youth with developmental disabilities and their families.
Competitive scholarships are available to qualified applicants with funding provided by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau. For more information about the program and the application process, please visit the NH-ME LEND website.
