Professional Background

Jacquelyn Silvani joined the University of New Hampshire Institute on Disability (IOD) in 2022 as a NH Wraparound trainer and coach, and now provides training and consultation to schools on Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports for behavioral health and wellness. Prior to entering the behavioral health field, Jacquelyn worked in public education for more than a decade as a teacher, reading specialist and advocate in southern New Hampshire. Jacquelyn became interested in mental and behavioral health while participating the NH Leadership Series at the IOD, integrating the understanding of mental health and trauma's impact on learning in her teaching practice. Jacquelyn's academic and professional backgrounds reflect her passion for working with and advocating for families and children.
