Professional Background

Kathy Francoeur is a nationally recognized trainer, coach, and implementation specialist with more than 25 years of experience helping schools, districts, mental health organizations, and community agencies improve outcomes for youth with behavioral health and transition challenges. As Co-Director of Training and Technical Assistance at the Institute on Disability, University of New Hampshire, Kathy provides leadership, training, and technical assistance for statewide and national initiatives focused on behavioral health, school mental health, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior (MTSS-B), and RENEW (Resilience, Empowerment, and Natural Supports for Education and Work).

Kathy specializes in helping organizations successfully implement RENEW, an evidence-based planning process that empowers youth to graduate, pursue meaningful careers, and build successful adult lives. Through training, coaching, and systems-level support, she helps organizations create sustainable practices that produce measurable results.
