Heather joined the IOD as the UNH Supportive Recovery Campus and Wildcats for Recovery Coordinator in April 2024. Prior to joining the IOD, they facilitated Social Emotional Learning and Leadership programs for youth in grades K-12, with a focus on mentoring youth impacted by a loved one’s substance misuse. They have experience instructing Mental Health First Aid courses and working on prevention efforts through collaborating with local organizations and leaders to close gaps in care to best serve the community. They have a passion for community engagement and public health, are a dedicated volunteer and mental health advocate, and spend their free time painting, reading and hanging out with their pup.
