Clarke Hawley

Professional Background

Clarke recently joined the Assistive Technology in New Hampshire (ATinNH) team as an Assistive Technology Program Support staff member. Clarke previously interned with ATinNH, gaining experience supporting assistive technology resources, creating accessible educational materials, and assisting with program operations. 

Clarke graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2026 with a BA in Sociology and Italian Studies. Their background in sociology has shaped their interest in understanding how people interact with the world around them and how barriers can be reduced to create more accessible and inclusive communities. 

Clarke has spent two years working with the New Hampshire's Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SBVI) through the Sky's the Limit program, which empowers blind and visually impaired high school students to pursue college and career goals while building greater independence. They are also participating in the TOM (Tikkun Olam Makers) University Fellowship, which focuses on developing human-centered solutions to accessibility challenges. 

In their new role, Clarke is excited to continue supporting ATinNH's work and contributing to efforts that help people access technology and resources that can promote greater independence and participation in everyday life. 

Outside of work, Clarke enjoys visiting Renaissance fairs and exploring their interest in history and Italian culture.
