Emilia Poehlman wins Community Service Award
At the Granite YMCA’s 171st Annual Celebration, volunteers, community supporters, donors, and staff gathered to recognize the many accomplishments of the past year. During the event, NH Disability and Health Program, Program Manager Emilia Poehlman received a Community Service Award — a deeply deserved recognition of her ongoing commitment to strengthening our communities.
“This work is all about building pathways for people to access the resources and support they need to live healthy, connected lives. I’m proud to be part of a collaboration that’s making a meaningful difference.”
Emilia Poehlman joined the Institute on Disability in October 2021 as the NH Disability and Health Program Manager. Emilia recently earned her MSSW from Columbia University School of Social Work, where she studied program proposal, evaluation, and healthcare policy. A New Hampshire native, she is appreciative of the opportunity to do community-based work in her home state.
The ceremony honored individuals and partners whose work is making a meaningful difference across the region, an impact Emilia embodies so well.
