The Institute on Disability (IOD) is seeking three Assistant Research Faculty to join our team. Research faculty within the IOD maintain portfolios on diverse topics related to disability policy and services across the lifespan. IOD Assistant Research Professors play a direct role in improving the quality of life and services for people with disabilities and their families through research and service.

The IOD is seeking specific areas of expertise in the following:

  1. Community living related to one or more topics: housing, employment, direct support workforce, health, transportation, justice, etc., for people with disabilities;
  2. Transition services and support for youth and young adults with disabilities: education, vocational rehabilitation, employment, etc.;
  3. Health and genetics services and leadership education in neurodevelopmental disabilities programs.

These positions are 12-month, year-round positions located in either of the IOD’s offices (Durham or Concord, NH). Considerations may be made for a blended in-person/hybrid option.
