Center for RENEW Implementation
Creating Hope, Building Futures, Changing Lives
RENEW is a structured school-to-career transition planning and individualized wraparound process for youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. Developed in 1996 by staff at the Institute on Disability (IOD), RENEW is being provided by schools, community mental health centers, community-based providers, and IOD staff members to youth. The model focuses on supporting each youth to design and pursue a plan for the transition from school to adult life. RENEW has substantially increased the high school completion, employment, and post-secondary education participation rates among our most vulnerable youth.

RENEW User's Portal
Welcome to the RENEW Facilitator Learning Portal!
Beginning July 1, 2021, we will transition the RENEW Facilitators tools and resources from the User’s Portal on our website to the RENEW Facilitators Learning Portal supported by UNH Canvas. Canvas is a course management system that supports online learning. We are using Canvas to give you access to RENEW training materials and tools, and to help guide you through the process of achieving and retaining optional RENEW Facilitator Certification, should you choose to do so.
In making this change, it is our hope that the tools will be more easily accessible, as well as better organized for you. Please reach out to your IOD RENEW Coach or to Cat Jones to invite and enroll you as an active Facilitator.
We are pleased that you continue to provide RENEW to youth!
