Professional Background
Susan Russell is the Associate Director at the Center of Community Inclusion and Disability Studies, Maine’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at the University of Maine. Ms. Russell is also the former Training Co-director of NH-ME Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Program and was a NH-ME LEND long-term trainee in 2012. Ms. Russell’s specialty areas and areas of interest include budgets, grant management, human resources, developmental disabilities, child development, family studies, disability studies, and public policy. Ms. Russell serves on the UMaine Protection of Human Subjects Review Board and the Maine Developmental Disabilities Council.
