Susan Russell

Susan Russell is a doctoral candidate at the University of Maine where she is seeking a Ph.D in Disability Studies and Public Policy with a focus on family support for individuals with disabilities. She completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training in 2012. Ms. Russell is the Interim Associate Director at the Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies at the University of Maine, Maine’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and the LEND Training Coordinator at UMaine. She serves on the UMaine Protection of Human Subjects Review Board, UMaine Diversity Leadership Institute and the Maine Developmental Disabilities Council.
