Professional Background
Kristina joined the University of New Hampshire Institute on Disability in 2023 as a Project Coordinator. Kristina has worked in research for over seven years, focusing primarily on the study of healthy aging and memory. At the Pennsylvania State University, she worked within the Cognitive Aging and Neuroimaging Lab as a lab manager and research assistant studying the neural correlates of memory in healthy older adult populations. Later, with the Boston Veteran Affairs and Boston University, she worked as a research assistant within the Memory Disorders Research Center helping to carry out research exploring the link between memory, aging, and cardiovascular fitness with applications in intervention and preventative care for older adult populations.
With her skills in project management and research, Kristina strives to continue to support older adults in living healthy, happy lives through her work at the IOD.
