• On November 28th Michael McSheehan, from the UNH Satellite of SWIFT Education Center, and partners, Santina Thibedeau, N.H. State Director of Special Education, and Bonnie Dunham, a member of the IOD’s Consumer Advisory Council, appeared on NHPR’s The Exchange with Laura Knoy where they provided an update on special education in New Hampshire.   • Dr. Joan Beasley, from the Center for START Services, has been invited to present at the Royal College of Psychiatrists International Congress 2018 in Birmingham, England. While they are “across the pond,” Dr. Beasley and Dr. Karen Weigle also from the Center for START Services, will also present the START model at the University College London, Division of Psychiatry.
  • Dr. Tobey Partch-Davies, along with a number of NH-based partners, received an award by the Think College National Training and Technical Assistance Center in support of post-secondary education options for students with intellectual disabilities in New Hampshire.
  • Dr. Karla Armenti, from the NH Occupational Health Surveillance Program, recently published a report on the Impact of Influenza Policies on NH healthcare personnel.
