This year, two NH Leadership grads completed a year in NH-ME LEND, Cohort of 2017 – Deb Genthner and Alicia Buono! Congratulations to both of them for their hard work and leadership in the state.  

  • Deb has been working at the IOD in many roles since graduating from NH Leadership in 2006, starting as a Project Coordinator in YES and is now working in NH Leadership. She has been very active and vocal in her community of Fremont where she served for 6 years on their School Board, 3 years on the Parks and Recreation board and was active in the PTA for 10 years. 
  • Alicia, Class of 2015, is working part time for Dan Habib at the IOD helping with the launch of his new film and his social media and is also employed by Community Crossroads doing development work. She is on the Board of Directors at ABLE NH. 

In 2017, two NH Leadership grads will be joining NH-ME LEND as the Cohort of 20018. 

  • Julie Smith, Class of 2006, has been working at the IOD for 9 years as a Family Coordinator at the Seacoast child Development Clinic as part of NH-ME LEND. Julie has been very active in networking and supporting parents of children on the autism spectrum. She is presently coordinating a seacoast parent group for families of transition age youths and young adults on the spectrum. 
  • Becca Mitchell-Ward, Class of 2017, will be joining NH-ME LEND as a family trainee. Becca is employed in a school system and is working toward an MA in special education. She lives in Deering.
