Community Life Engagement (CLE) in Action is excited to host our next quarterly webinar on Wednesday, April 15, at 1:30 p.m. ET as part of our series on storytelling and peer support for providers supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
We are excited to feature Beth Wike, training associate at the Institute for Community Inclusion. Beth brings over 20 years of experience in disability services, with a focus on community inclusion and competitive integrated employment.
During the webinar, Beth will discuss the vital role direct support professionals (DSPs) play in helping people access and engage in their communities in meaningful ways. Beth will share person-centered strategies and tools that support identifying individual interests, strengths, and goals. She will also discuss ways to translate these interests and goals into real opportunities for connection, belonging, and participation.
