Family and Youth-Driven Wraparound is a facilitated, team-based process to assist children and youth with significant emotional or behavioral challenges and their family to develop a plan that will lead to improvements in the child’s and family’s life. Wraparound is facilitated by a well-trained and coached individual called a Wraparound Coordinator. Family and youth peer support are integral parts on NH’s model.
This 3-day training is the first step in preparing individuals to facilitate the wraparound process.
AGENDA
- Day 1: Modules 1-2. Wraparound overview; family engagement; roles, strengths, and needs
- Day 2: Module 3. Development and facilitation of Wraparound teams; family vision; creating and using the family plan of care; identifying your coach; enrolling families
- Day 3: Modules 4-6. Ongoing plan of care assessment; safety and crisis planning; transitioning from Wraparound
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This training is for individuals who facilitate or wish to facilitate the Wraparound process, their supervisors, family and youth supporters, and others who will supporting the wraparound system.
