Event Description
A RENEW Coach is an experienced RENEW practitioner who supports RENEW Facilitators and guides the system-level team in the implementation and practice of RENEW, ensuring fidelity to the model. Participants in this online interactive training will learn to use effective coaching strategies and tools practical for the RENEW intervention in various settings (schools, mental health centers, community agencies, etc.).
Five 2-hour online sessions address the competencies and skills associated with the five domains that are used to assess a prospective RENEW Coach’s readiness:
- Module 1. RENEW Coaching Role
- Module 2. Delivering Performance Feedback
- Module 3. Implementation Science
- Module 4: Using Data
- Module 5. Problem Solving & Support
This training will focus on quality delivery of the RENEW intervention and building a structure to help reach and maintain fidelity. Completing the RENEW Coaches Training is one of the requirements for attaining certification as a RENEW Coach.
