Professional Background
Maya joined the National Center for START Services in 2021. Prior to joining the National team, Maya directed the Region I START Program in New York State and was inspired by the innovative supports and network surrounding people with disabilities through the START model. Her experience in Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, direct care, case management, community education/outreach and leadership has contributed towards her continued dedication in the field.
