Professional Background

Lacey Eaton is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. Lacey has over 20 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and older adults needing support and care in their later years including those with dementia and multiple mental and physical health needs. Lacey has worked in a variety of settings including community centers, private care facilities, personal home care, and private practice. Lacey’s experience includes that of training and development, leadership, consultation, and work with local and state agencies in Texas. Lacey continues to run a private practice primarily working with adults with IDD as well as consultation and training for direct support professionals, clinicians and other professional organizations.
