Professional Background
Since 1989, David O'Neal has worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders. He currently heads a comprehensive program providing mental health, START, behavioral stabilization, substance abuse treatment, and vocational services to approximately 1200 clients with co-occurring diagnosis at Sound Mental Health in Seattle, WA. In addition to being on the national START team, he consults and speaks around North America and feels he still is learning every day.
