Learn about Supported Decision Making

Filmmaker Oscar Segal will share his three short films:
- The Oscar Show
- My Independent Life
- Positive Exposure Supported Decision Making
The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion about supported decision-making.
Panelists include:
- Oscar Segal: Known for his activism and advocacy around Supported Decision-making as an alternative to guardianship for individuals with disabilities, Oscar utilizes his interest in film and public speaking to spread the word and share his story, including through his YouTube channel “The Oscar Show” where he interviews those who play a key role in his life.
- Tim Houle: Chair of the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities, which supports public policies and initiatives that remove barriers and promote opportunities in all areas of life.
- Wendy Chase: Former House Representative who was the lawmaker who ensured the passage of supported decision-making at the state level. She is the co-host of the Portsmouth Public Media TV show Living and Learning with Disabilities.
