Durham, NH – Deb Genthner, Project Coordinator of the NH Leadership Series at the UNH Institute on Disability (IOD), has accepted the position of Program Coordinator II for the UNH School Mental Health Graduate Program beginning in mid-July 2023. Deb joined the IOD in 2009 and, over the past 14 years, has played an integral role in growing the NH Leadership Series. She recently completed her master’s degree in special education, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care and is looking forward to applying what she has learned.

“Deb’s work has been a vital part of growing a broad coalition active on issues related to disability in New Hampshire. We are proud of her work and thankful for her dedication and years of service to our program,” says NH Leadership Series Director Sarah Sadowski, “No matter where her work takes her, Deb is clear that she will always be a NH Leadership graduate. We wish her the best in her new endeavors.”

“I am grateful for the incredible experiences I have had through the years and the privilege of working alongside the exceptional individuals on the Leadership Team. It has been truly invaluable,” says Deb.

Deb will continue to be active at UNH and NH Leadership events. In her spare time, she will continue working towards her black belt in Kenpo Karate and bicycling the roads and trails around Fremont, NH.
