The NH Leadership Series has been awarded a $5,000 grant by Northeast Delta Dental to support its Improving Oral Health for Individuals with Disabilities project.
The NH Leadership Series and ABLE-NH hosted their 5th annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 21st in Windham NH. One hundred golfers joined together in this fun and successful event to raise money for both organizations. The NH Leadership Series uses the money to help support their talented group leaders who attend every session, help grow and encourage leadership and learning through their small home group meetings, and build connections between participants in between sessions.
Dr. Tobey Partch-Davies will conduct the evaluation for NH DHHS’s Community Collaborations to Strengthen and Preserve Families grant – a project to strengthen primary and secondary prevention service efforts at the Division for Children, Youth and Families and Division of Public Health Services.
Drs. Mary Schuh and JoAnne Malloy received a $1.2 M Personnel Development grant to improve services and results for children with disabilities. By the end of this project a minimum of 60 scholars, representing special and general education and social work will be fully credentialed with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Trauma-Informed Schools and Communities: promoting, through multi-tiered systems of support, equity and diversity among children and youth with EBC and other disabilities.
Dr. Joan Beasley and the Center for START Services team was awarded a planning, development, and pilot contract with the State of Maryland for $248,077. The development and implementation will be led by Dr. Jill Hinton starting with one region and expanding statewide over the next four years.
