The NH-ME LEND program welcomed the newest cohort of 24 trainees, 18 from New Hampshire and 6 from Maine on August 31.  This year’s cohort includes trainees from varied backgrounds, including self-advocates, parents, siblings, and extended family members, as well as those from the fields of community health, communication sciences and disorders, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, social policy, sociology, and social work.  Meet this gifted cohort.

During the annual Meet and Greet held on September 7 the LEND faculty and trainees engaged in a variety of team building activities.  We are off to a good start with the trainees beginning their clinical and leadership field placements across NH and Maine in the coming weeks.  It promises to be an engaging year!
