Happy Winter Leaders!
Greetings from all of us at NH Leadership!
We are in the midst of another great year with our new Class of 2016. They are a lively bunch of 31 powerful people and you may be hearing from them already on the NH Leadership List Serve, asking for your input or sharing some of their activities as they work hard in their Action Groups. Welcome to all of you in the Class of 2016 as this is your first official newsletter! You can “meet” them on the list of names and their towns that follows.

The Golf Tournament in September was again, a very successful fundraiser. Collaborating with ABLE NH, we raised $15,000 which was split between the two organizations. NH Leadership uses the money to put towards the payment of the group leaders and mentee. The support of Jim Watson (2015) leading us through all the steps and keeping all the details straight was really instrumental in making this tournament work. In addition, we had many volunteers helping out and really appreciated our alumni and IOD staff, especially Mary Straight, in helping out. We have a goal to get 20 more golfers and raise our earnings to $18,000 in the September 2016 tourney. Hope you can help us and perhaps we will see you there!
We have a new addition to our Leadership staff. We welcome Alicia Buono who will be joining us for 5 months to help with some of the Gala planning as Beth continues to transition. You can read more about Alicia later in the newsletter.
Our current group leaders have been doing a superb job helping their home group members feel connected, supported, and challenged. This year’s group leaders are: Kathy Bates, Robin Carlson, Linda Quintanilha, Jenn Pineo and a new member, Dave Ouellette from the DD Council.
We are working hard to keep you all connected, to fill you with opportunities on the list serve, and to create a series that adapts and grows with the changing landscape. We welcome your input and support and appreciate all you do as alumni. Our growing Leadership tree has sprouted many new branches and leaves but the core of leadership remains the same – Cultivating Leaders to Create Change!
It is with a heavy heart that we want you to know that Lee MacKenzie, Class of 2015, passed away on January 1st. You can read more about Lee in this newsletter.
With best wishes for a new year filled with just the right touch of leadership challenges that enable you to grow into a stronger and more brilliant version of yourself!
Yours in Leadership, Ann
