This interactive online training prepares school and community staff to facilitate the Rehabilitation for Empowerment, Natural supports, Education, and Work (RENEW) model and process.
RENEW is a youth-directed planning and support process designed to meet the needs of young people with emotional and behavioral challenges transitioning from school to adult life.
Through virtual group activities and instruction, learn to engage youth, facilitate personal futures planning through mapping, develop individualized teams and resources, direct the RENEW team process, conduct school-to-career planning, and empower youth to lead the process.

A Note on Successful Implementation of RENEW
It is highly recommended that any organization interested in providing RENEW to youth begin by establishing an implementation team and a plan to receive ongoing coaching. Having the right structures and supports in place will help Facilitators maintain fidelity to the RENEW model, and ensure the team is tracking the data they need to measure outcomes and make informed decisions.
