Announcing the YAI MH-IDD Research Poster Call for Submissions

The National Research Consortium on Mental Health in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (NRC on MH-IDD) is pleased to announce the YAI MH-IDD Research Poster Presentation as part of our 2025 Annual Meeting. This poster initiative is made possible through the generous support of YAI.

This initiative aims to broaden our community of researchers dedicated to the mental health aspects of IDD, with an emphasis on building the capacity of early career researchers.

We invite submissions that include but are not limited to:

  • Qualitative analysis
  • Feasibility or pilot studies
  • Analysis and significance of existing data

 The posters will highlight innovative work that contributes to the advancement of MH-IDD research and demonstrates potential for further exploration in the field. We encourage future researchers to share their creativity to promote hope during challenging times.

All posters must meet the research priorities of the NRC:

  1. the application of positive psychological methods;
  2. the development of evidenced-based inclusive interventions;
  3. building capacity to reduce service disparities; and
  4. implementation of accessible measures.
