The NH Leadership Series is accepting applications and nominations for its 2026 class. Applicants come from diverse backgrounds, regions, and experiences. Each year, up to 30 participants are selected by a review committee. 

If you're ready to grow your leadership skills, create change, and join a statewide network of advocates—this is your moment. Apply to join the 2026 class, or nominate a friend or colleague.

What to Expect

As a participant, you will:


  • Attend a mix of virtual and in-person sessions
  • Learn about disability rights, public policy, organizing, and systems change
  • Connect with local, state, and national leaders
  • Collaborate with peers who share your passion for inclusion and access

Class of 2026 Schedule

The NH Leadership Series runs from September 2026 through April 2027.

Participants attend online and in-person sessions. The program includes about 60 total hours of learning and group activities.

Graduation takes place in May at the Institute on Disability annual celebration in Durham.

Time Commitment

Online assignments (Canvas)

About 2 hours per week.

Virtual sessions (Zoom)

Twice a month, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

In-person sessions

Three full-day sessions, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
