Genetic Metabolic Center for Education (GMCE)

GMCE offers HIPAA compliant and secure consultative support to clinicians for the diagnosis and medical/nutritional management of genetic metabolic disease. In addition the GMCE offers advising, training, and resources through technologically advanced communications and distance learning. Clinicians from GMCE will participate in Project ECHO, eConsults and provider educations.

New England Regional Health Equity Council (RHEC)

RHEC’s mission is to leverage and increase the effectiveness of the collective actions and resources of partners, community representatives, leaders, and stakeholders, that address the social determinants of health, the delivery of high quality health care, and elimination of systemic health disparities, in order to achieve health equity for all in the New England region. The RHEC will participate in the development and implementation of a training curriculum for Community Health Workers.

Weitzman Institute (WI)

The WI is embedded within one of the largest community health centers in the country, and its multidisciplinary staff provide guidance in primary care delivery system transformation, data analysis, quality improvement, implementation of telehealth strategies, and team-based care. Using its Project ECHO® video conference platform, WI provides training and specialty support in a range of clinical topics including, complex pediatrics, behavioral health, and LGBT healthcare. The NEGN will partner with the WI to provide genetics expertise within the existing Project ECHO and eConsults.

Northeast Telehealth Resource Center (NETRC)

NETRC’s mission is to increase access to quality health care services for rural and medically underserved populations through telehealth. They will provide technical assistance to practices wanting to implement telegenetics services.

New England Rural Health Round Table (RoundTable)

The RoundTable’s mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of communities throughout rural New England. They will partner with the NEGN to recruit practices into the Project ECHO and eConsults and disseminate project information.
