Join the Community Life Engagement Community of Practice

What is a Community of Practice?

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a peer-to-peer learning network where professionals connect to share knowledge, solve problems, and grow together.

The Community Life Engagement CoP is designed specifically for disability service providers who are shifting away from traditional, congregate services—and moving toward authentic community life engagement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Why Join?

As a member of this CoP, you’ll benefit from:

  • Peer Learning
Guided by the ECHO Model, we use an “All Teach, All Learn” approach where every participant brings valuable experience and insight to the table.
  • Expert Guidance
Tap into the expertise of the Community Life Engagement in Action team and other national leaders in community-based disability services.
  • Support & Coaching
Receive ongoing encouragement, coaching, and shared learning from a network of like-minded professionals.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving
Work through real-world challenges with peers facing similar barriers—because no one should have to go it alone.

We’re looking for provider organizations with a demonstrated commitment to advancing community life engagement across all levels of their organization.
