NH-ME LEND

The NH-ME LEND program is recruiting for next year’s class! If you are interested in improving the health of children and youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities, apply for the NH-ME LEND program. Participate in classroom, clinical and community-based learning at the University of New Hampshire and the University of Maine, collaborate to improve services for children with developmental disabilities through research projects and leadership training, and advocate for children and youth with special needs and their families in Washington D.C. NH Leadership Series

NH Leadership is looking for your help in finding the next class of leaders. More than 900 New Hampshire family members and adults with disabilities have graduated from this Series. These leaders advocate with service providers, use the legislative process to achieve change, and organize communities to support inclusion at every level. EC-SEAT Project

Are you or someone you know interested in Teaching young children with special needs? Learning about Assistive Technology? Apply for the Early Childhood Special Education Assistive Technology (EC-SEAT) project. While enrolled, you’ll learn effective practices to teach children with special needs, receive specialized instruction in Assistive Technology at the University of New Hampshire, and prepare for a variety of careers working with children and families from birth to 3rd Grade. The EC-SEAT project provides a $25,000 education award and iPad to students admitted to the Master of Education: Early Childhood Education: Special Needs graduate program at UNH.
