Winter 2016:
Following our son's diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), we worked with the Governor's office to have August declared SMA Awareness Month in NH. Governor Hassan is only one of a handful of Governors to issue this type of proclamation for SMA and we are so thankful her support of the community. Pictured to the right, is 16-month-old Bodhi with his official copy of the Governor's proclamation.

Winter 2016:
I work part time, have my own pyrography shop on the Etsy website (Bswoodburnings) and the Special Ed director at my kids school asked if I'd meet with other inclusion parents and help them with the stuff they are struggling with and share my knowledge and what I'm learning from Leadership.

Winter 2016:
I am working on my human service degree. I've attended my first ABLE meeting, it happened to be the 25th anniversary celebration of ADA. I plan on becoming a member in the near future, and getting more involved. I'll be attending the first meeting to begin to develop a parent support/liaison group in our district. I am also beginning a new part time job at Crotched Mountain Ski area.
