Background
Susan joined the IOD in 2022 with a background in administrative operations, creative and technical writing, and direct care for seniors. She believes in the value of authenticity and kindness, and appreciates a minimalist mindset both at work and at home. Susan shines when she is creating logical and productive standard operating procedures, documenting preferred practices for shared use, and helping others as they seek to discover their purpose.
Susan’s favorite quote is by Ralph Waldo Emerson, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
