Professional Background

Chris has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare marketing, public relations and communications field and provides a broad range of strategic communications, community relations and development services and expertise to non-profits across New Hampshire.  In addition to his role at NH AHA, Chris provides strategic communications services to The Way Home, The New Hampshire Challenge, The NH Senior Games and St. Joseph Community Services/Meals on Wheels.

Prior to starting his own consulting practice five years ago, Chris served as Senior Director of Public Relations for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in New Hampshire and Maine.  In each of those roles, he served as the primary spokesperson for the largest health insurers in each state. He also supervised and mentored staff in other Anthem states. Chris has also held key public relations and marketing leadership roles at NH non-profits and health care providers.

Chris is a board member of the Queen City Rotary Club (where he leads the organization’s communications committee), is a member of the NH Alliance for Healthy Aging and the NH Center for Non-Profits.


The Center on Aging and Community Living (CACL) is a collaboration between The Institute on Disability (IOD) and The Institute for Health Policy and Practice (IHPP) at The University of New Hampshire (UNH). These two institutes have been actively engaged in projects related to aging and long term care for many years.
