Professional Background:

Stacy began working for the IOD in 2014.  She is currently an assistive technology specialist and project coordinator for ATinNH. She holds a graduate certificate in Assistive Technology and a master's degree in Education. She has provided services to individuals with disabilities for over 25 years and conducts AT workshops and consultation services statewide and nationally. In addition to her interest working with children, she also has an interest in assistive technology and aging. Prior to coming to the IOD Stacy worked as both and elementary and special education teacher in multiple districts in New Hampshire.  

Projects

The Institute on Disability is the lead agency for New Hampshire’s statewide Assistive Technology Act Program: Assistive Technology in New Hampshire, or ATinNH. The program has two major activity areas: Training, Education and Outreach: AT Trainings, Classes, and Workshops and AT Policy  Assistive Technology Services: Equipment Demonstrations, Loans and Refurbishing/Reuse
