Julie Smith is the Clinic and Family Coordinator for the Seacoast Child Development Clinic, a training site for the NH Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities program. At the clinic she supports families and serves as a mentor to LEND trainees around family centered clinical practices. She is a parent of a young adult with autism, an active parent advocate, and community support volunteer, connecting families to resources and other local families. She serves on consumer councils for Community Partners and the Institute on Disability, participating in committee work in the areas of autism, as well as, disability and public health. She founded the Oyster River Parents of Young Children with Autism, and is a graduate of the NH Family and Self-Advocate Leadership Series.
