Alyssa was encouraged to pursue a career in social work by her supervisor and went on to gain experience as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP), where she worked with youth, ages 5-21, in the home, community, and school settings for four years. Alyssa then gained experienced in a specialized school setting as a BHP/Educational Technician III, where she worked 1:1 and 2:1 with students throughout a school day.
