Intensive professional development for Team Leaders/Internal Coaches of school-based MTSS-B or PBIS Teams

Woman giving presentation to attendees at tableEffective team leadership and facilitation have proven to be key in implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports with fidelity. This two-day training is designed for internal school coaches of Tier 1 (Universal), Tier 2 (Targeted), or Tier 3 (Intensive) teams. Participants will learn about best practices for supporting teams to use data-based decision making, establish buy-in, and ensure fidelity of MTSS-B implementation.

Orientation Call:

  • Discuss readiness
  • Orient to the role of Coach
  • Ensure you have adequate administrative support to take on duties
  • Identify critical needs

Days 1-2 Agenda:

  • Understanding the Role of Coach and feedback loops
  • Facilitating effective team meetings
  • How to establish buy-in
  • Helping teams action-plan and get work done between meetings
  • Essential elements for fidelity
  • Prepare to support teams
  • Collaborate with other coaches

Day 3 Agenda:

  • Supporting classroom implementation
  • Using data to progress monitor and make decisions
  • Action planning and evaluation
  • Building strong systems
  • Collaborate with other coaches
