The University of NH Institute on Disability recently received State Opioid Response Funds from the NH Department of Health and Human Services to expand Youth Recovery Peer Supports. These supports will help address problematic substance use for youth between the ages of 12–25 through the start-up of Alternative Peer Groups (APGs). To learn more about this funding opportunity, read the Alternative Peer Group Request for Proposals. Due date for applications is June 27, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
Proposals due June 27, 2022, by 11:59 p.m. Submit through the electronic submission link.
Please review the Request for Proposal fields prior to entering your proposal online. We suggest writing out your responses in advance to ensure that the link doesn’t time out while submitting.
Timing of Your Submission
Allow enough time to prepare and submit your application. We recommend that you submit your electronic application 24 to 48 hours before the proposal due date as sometimes heavy traffic to the site can cause technical problems. If any technical problems occur, this extra time should allow you to resolve them and re-submit your application by the due date.
We will reject applications submitted after 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on June 27, 2022
What to Expect After You Submit
After we receive your submission, you will receive two separate email messages about the progress of your application:
- The first email is for submission receipt only. It confirms receipt of your proposal by our system. This message does not mean the application has been accepted.
- The second email notifies you that your proposal has been approved or denied.
- If approved, you will receive notification by July 8th, 2022, and will be contacted by Heidi.Cloutier@unh.edu to begin the contracting process within one (1) week of notification (the contracting process can take 4-6 weeks). Work should begin no later than August 8th, 2022.
The APG funds are to be used and invoiced by March 15, 2023. All invoices must be received by March 22, 2023.
If you have additional questions, please contact Heidi Cloutier.
