Including All Students in Education Is the Focus of Annual Spring Symposium Offered By the Institute on Disability at UNH
DURHAM , N.H. – Ensuring all learners have access to a good education is the focus of this year's Spring Symposium, offered by the Institute on Disability at the University of New Hampshire .
The Raising Expectations: Including All Children in Education Spring Symposium, held Tuesday, March 27 at the Center of NH-Radisson Hotel in Manchester , will offer full-day professional workshops on literacy instruction for students with disabilities, Asperger Syndrome and social inclusion, supporting students with Autism in general education classrooms, and strategies for paraprofessionals and classroom assistants in supporting students with disabilities.
The annual symposium is popular among college students, new educators, paraprofessionals, school administrators, and experienced teachers looking for professional development opportunities or to stay informed of the latest educational promising practices. In addition, college faculty, school administrators, families and those interested in providing a quality educational experience for all students in general education settings will all benefit from attending this comprehensive workshop.
